Employers
Welcome to the Employers' section of the site.We hope you will find this site informative and easy to use.
This site provides the key information Employers' need to be aware of when there are redundancies. We offer Employers the following services and information:
- 'Know Your Welfare Rights' leaflets for Employers to distribute to employees who are about to become unemployed as a result of a redundancy
- Copies of our comprehensive publication 'Working for Work' - which explores welfare, work, education and training options for unemployed people
- Access to our telephone based Welfare to Work information resource
The INOU also provide a Redundancy Module for Employers facing redundancy situations. The INOU have been providing group presentations to staff in companies where redundancies have been occuring over the past number of years. The presentation consists of information in the following areas:
For further information on the redundancy presentation is provided on the following link: INOU Module on Redundancy . If you would like to speak to someone about the redundancy presentation please do not hesitate to contact the INOU by telephone on 01 8560088 or email at development@inou.ie |
The development of this site has been possible as a result of a Department of Community, Equality and Gaeltacht Affairs funded project to assist people who haverecently (or are about to) become unemployed through the provision of redundancy related welfare rights information.
A significant part of this project is to work with Employers to provide comprehensive information directly to Human Resource Managers and Owners. We also provide allocation of leaflets that the Employer can make available to the person who is facing a redundancy situation.
